Subject: Assignment of the General Financial Management of ELGEKA to Mr. Spyros Karanassos and his appointment as the new Investor Relations Officer of the Company
“ELGEKA S.A.” announces in accordance with paragraph 4.1.3.6 of the ATHEX Regulation, as applicable, and the defined in article 6 of L.3340/2005 and in articles 2 and 3 of decision 3/347/12.7.2005 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, that from today Friday, September 1st, 2023, Mr. Spyros Karanassos assumes the position of Chief Financial Officer of ELGEKA, a position previously held by Ms. Christina Papandreou as Chief Financial Officer of ELGEKA Group, who decided to stand down from the Group.
The new Chief Financial Officer of ELGEKA, Mr. Spyros Karanassos, has 20 years of experience in managerial positions, with specialization in the areas of Finance. Mr. Spyros Karanassos joined the company in 2012 as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and until recently held the position of the Financial Controller. In the past he had worked at the companies Efg Eurolife, Intralot Group & M.J.Maillis Group.
In addition, from today onwards Mr. Spyros Karanassos undertakes as Investor Relations Officer of the Company, to cover the continuous obligations of ELGEKA to provide immediate and valid information towards investors, a responsibility that from 24.07.2020 had been assigned to Ms. Christina Papandreou, who has been performing these duties until today.
