1986: FIRST AWARD TO ELGEKA

The company is awarded a prize by the National Association for Danish enterprise and Prince Henrik of Denmark, for its contribution to the development and promotion of commercial relations between Denmark and Greece.

1995 - 1997: EUROPEAN HONONARY DISTINCTION BY EFER

ELGEKA is nominated by the European Foundation for Entrepreneurial Besearch (EFER) as Member of Europe's 500 Dynamic Entrepreneurial Companies.

1997: HONORARY DISTINCTION BY DANDY
ELGEKA is awarded the highest honorary distinction by the company DANDY (STIMOROL and V6 chewing gums), standing it out even from its subsidiaries, for Outstanding Cooperation - Best Partnership, for its leading handling of commercial matters and contribution to the planning and implementation of DANDY's international strategy.

2000: SECOND HONORARY DISTINCTION BY DANDY

2010: DISTINCTION FROM ICAP HELLAS
AS "STRONGEST COMPANIES IN GREECE"
ELGEKA S.A. ranks among the 326 Strongest Companies in Greece, namely in the 22nd position. The selection of companies was based on criteria such as profitability, liquidity, cash flow trading behavior and moral credit risk, and includes as many companies were participating in the initiative of ICAP Group.

2012: BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD FROM THE HELLENIC MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION AND THE EUROPEAN FOUNDATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT

ELGEKA SA successfully fulfilled all the criteria of the International Certification Program EFQM- "Committed to Excellence" and the National Certification Program of Hellenic Management Association (EEDE) - "AIEN ARISTEVEIN",   for " The Adoption of the Business Excellence Principles."
The awards relate to the redevelopment of the performance appraisal system, the launch of corporate intranet and the implementation of action ELGEKATHLON (reward of innovative ideas).
The working group consisted of: M. Galanakis, N. Mariolis, G. Gomouzas, A. Marioli, T. Economou, K. Trikoulis, G. Gronta, S. Zachariadou, C. Karamperi, K. Mantziorou, S. Panagiotopoulou, K. Gazis & A. Tsifora.

 

2012: AWARD FOR INNOVATION IN
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT BY KPMG
At the 12th Human Resources Symposium by KPMG, ELGEKA received the award as one of the 3 companies with the most innovative projects in the field of human resource management. Specifically, the award related to the performance, benefits and allowances management system.  ELGEKA was represented by the Human Resources Department consisting of: N. Mariolis, A. Marioli & G. Gkomouzas.
The award was received by the Human Resources Director Mr. Michael Galanakis.

2012: DISTINCTION FROM THE "TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN"
2012_childELGEKA was awarded by the Union “Together for Children” for its participation in a humanitarian campaign organized by the Union. During this campaign more than 10 tons of aid was collected.
